Today we visited the local farmer’s market that comes to town once a month. We haven’t been since we moved into the new house so it was nice to pay a visit as this time they had extended it to a food and drink festival. It was ok, not any different from the usual market but we always find something to new to try and buy each time we go.Between me and mum we bought some pork pies, large cookies, cheese stuffed olives, chocolate covered sunflower seeds, local cider and truffle oil and goat’s cheese.
It was a lot cooler today than it has been, just 21ºC so the sun wasn’t as strong which was much more pleasant wandering around from all the stalls filled food that are locally made or grown .After buying the food and drinks we went and sat on a picnic bench to eat lunch from what we bought, before going back to my mum’s for the afternoon.I took lots of black and white photos, probably too many but these were the ones I felt came out well.
I use the Hipstamatic app on a iphone 4s.
