Along while back I decided to start writing on a monthly basis, Right Here, Right Now.As my blog became more about my kids and reviews, I wanted to write more about me.It worked for a few months but for some reason I stopped.Looking at my blog over Christmas, I realised I had fell back into the same old yet again. So with a new year ahead of us, I thought I’d get back into it again. You can look here for previous Right Here, Right Now posts.
Right Here, Right Now-January 2017
Currently I am:
Listening to Clara Amfo on Radio 1 and knitting, badly, a scarf.
I finished A Christmas Carol just before New Year and now I’m reading a Portrait Of Dorian Grey.
I’m an avid Spotify user and I have endless playlist and follows lots of singers/bands.My favourite features is Radar, where you get a weekly playlist of new songs being released from the people you follow. Also Weekly Discovery gives you a weekly playlist of music to that is similar to what you listen to and songs you may have forgotten.Just remember to listen to other stuff and not the Discovery playlist too much or you’ll get some really weird choices added to the playlist. This is my favourite releases from Jnauary.
Tom Hardy in Taboo.
A trip to London during half term in a couple of weeks. We haven’t been since Autumn half term last year.We are looking to find rare Pokemon we haven’t been able to find here locally. We have lots of of new places on the agenda to visit locally to extend our back-yard travel memories and Pokemon Go has taken us to places we probably would have never thought of going to before.
Knitting again.I am yet to complete a square to finish the blanket I started for charity a few year back.I’ve unraveled so many times now but I’m getting much better and confident.
Took myself off to bed an hour ago as I'm getting myself back into knitting. Thanks to @lifeasaliceblog I've been inspired by the 365 days of knitting book she sent me.I haven't picked up a pair needles since December 2015, so I'm a bit out of practice. This year will be my year of crafting more and learning new skills. #craftingismytherapy_january #knittingproject #knittingnewbie #redheartyarns #snaphappybritmums #pbloggers #epig
Watching on Nexflix/Amazon Prime:
A Series Of Unfortunate Events, Lucifer, Vikings, The Crown, An American Horror Story and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
We're working with @EgmontUK and @netflixuk for the A Series Of Unfortunate Events campaign. The Netflix series will consist of 8 episodes each 50 minutes long. The show will cover one book over the course of two episodes. We were sent books 1-4 of the series, so my 8 year old daughter can take part in the read-a-long as the episodes are streamed. Neil Patrick Harris stars as evil Count Olaf – See my pinned tweet on Twitter for the trailer. Stay tuned for more information over the next few weeks, which gives you time to ho out and buy the books yourself so you can take part. #ASOUE #ASOUEbooks #asouenetflix #asouereadathon #asouefandom #egmontbooks #neilpstrickharris #lemonysnickett #countolaf #epig #pbloggers #snaphappybritmums
